| Recipe Name | Guevara Sauce |
| Recipe Description | Delicious hot & sweet chili sauce, useful also for paint |
stripper and molotov cocktails. Reputedly used by Che to
deforest a large area of central Bolivia in the 1960s…
| Instructions | To transform these ingredients ito a staggeringly hot sauce you |
need to chop the tomatoes vv finely using a sharp knife
(please do not try to be clever with blenders etc as it doesn't
work). Do *not* rub your eyes at this point (-: Take 2-3
tablespoons of oil in a small pan and heat it on low heat on the
stove. Once the oil is quite hot chuck in chilies, garlic and
chopped peppers & add some salt to taste. Once it has cooked
for a few minutes (not burn!) throw in the chopped tomatoes
and let it simmer another 5-10 minutes. The hot sauce should
then be transferred to a small bowl and left to cool.
Hot tip: if there are people you particularly don't like then this
sauce is good to substitute for ketchup. Normally it is good
with samosa, bhajias etc - if sauce comes in contact with the
eyes take immediate action. The type of action will depend on
whose eyes the hot sauce is in
